Depending on where your CD is more active, there are drugs to treat about.

Sulfasalazine is a good choice, especially if the bowel is achieved, since the effect of the treatment you are looking for two points ... However, if rarely-inclusive w / Crohn's disease.

Infliximab is a good choice because they lack the side effects of methotrexate or azathioprine suppression of the bone marrow, but is very expensive ($) 20,000 per year.

There are many drugs are options, but it will probably be some very significant side effects. Drugs that slow the growth of cells () and thus mostly immune-inflammatory action to stop the disease in order to suppress the immune response. Infliximab antibodies also blocked, the immune system and the patient open to infection.

Hope this helps. Finally, I hope you find a combination of drugs that works for them.

Different drugs work for different people. Side effects vary and is usually a matter of experimenting to find out what works best for a particular patient.
