Haha sounds like you really love your rabbit. Understandable for everyone ... ;)
To him happy in his cage, make sure you have enough room to jump, and at least something like cave, you can go to sleep and relax. I do not waste too much into the treated area if you want a big rabbit! Try to give carrots:)
I'm sure he will be with you. They spend a lot of time petting and playing with him. The more time you spend with him what you want.
For his birthday to buy a kind of super-special treatment for him. The play with him much, much love!
